Overview
This guide is meant to walk you through the step by step process of swapping the Door Control Board (DCB) in a Bevi Standup 2.0.
Required Tools & Materials
- FRU - DOOR CONTROL BOARD - 720-0112
- #2 Phillips Screwdriver
Task 1: Open the door.
- Navigate to the Service Panel.
- Touch the Service button in the top left corner of the main dispense screen.
- Touch "Start Service" on the right side of the screen.
- Enter the access code “1986”.
- The door should open. If it doesn't, press the “Open Door” button.
- If the door does not open, please contact Bevi Support at 866-704-2384.
Task 2: Disconnect power from Standup 2.0

Turn off the power switch on the top rear of the unit.

Remove the power cable.
Task 3: Remove the Door Board.
- Remove the mounting screw at the bottom of the Door Board cover.
- Lift the cover away from the door and remove.
- Disconnect all electrical connections from the bottom of the Door Board.
- Press and release the lock latch clip on each connector and disconnect from the board.
- Take care to not pull directly on any wires to avoid damage.
- Tip: It can be helpful to take a photo of the cabling prior to disconnection for reference during reinstallation.
- Press and release the lock latch clip on each connector and disconnect from the board.
- Remove the 3 screws mounting the board to the door.
- Remove the Door Board.
Task 6: Install the new Door Board.
- Place the new board onto the door and reinstall the 3 mounting screws.
- Caution: Do not overtighten to avoid any damage to the plastic threads on the door.
- Reconnect all cables to the Door Board.
- Ensure each connector is fully seated and clicks into place.
Task 8: Power on the Bevi and check for heartbeat.
- Reconnect the power cord.
- Power on the Bevi with the power switch,
- Once the Bevi is powered on, confirm the alternating green & red heartbeat LED on the Door Board is flashing.
Task 9: Confirm the Door Board communication.
- Navigate back to the Service Panel.
- From the Service Panel, go to the Troubleshooting Tools menu.
- Touch “Alerts & Maintenance”.
- Touch “Troubleshooting Tools”.
- In the “Data” column under the Electrical tab, verify the Power Module is connected.
- You should see Door Board, Power Module, and BUC Board Connected = YES.
- If the Door Board is not connected, it will also cause the Power Module and BUC Board to disconnect.
- Recheck the 3 USB connections at the bottom of the Door Board.
- If the cable is properly connected but the BUC Board is still showing as not connected on the Troubleshooting Tools screen, contact Bevi Support at 866-704-2384.
Task 7: Check For Updates
After installing the new Door Board, it is important to be sure the firmware is up to date.
- In the upper left corner of Troubleshooting Tools, check if there is an update available.
- Touch the “Update” button if present.
- The Bevi will download the firmware update.
- Once update is complete, touch “restart”..
Task 8: Test Functionality
- Pour cold, sparkling, hot water, and test flavors to confirm the Bevi is dispensing properly.
- If the issue is resolved:
- Reinstall the Door Board cover and secure with the mounting screw.
- Close the door
- If the issue is NOT resolved
