Overview
This document is intended to provide step by step instructions for field technicians when replacing a touchscreen or tablet assembly in a standup (SU) Bevi unit. Instructions are included for v1.5, v.1, and v.75 SU Bevi machines.

A: Screen sensitivity issues such as dropped dispenses and unresponsive screens indicate that the tablet should be replaced. Additionally, appearances of a screen bubble or a stretched screen should result in a tablet replacement.

Required Tools & Materials
- ⅜” Socket Head Wrench
- Phillips Screwdriver Size #1
- Touchscreen w/ Antenna (v1, v.75): Part Number 540-0004
- Tablet and Control Board Assembly (v1.5): Part Number 100262-01
NOTE: The Bevi unit must be registered, and must have recently been online. If it is not registered, please do so before swapping the touchscreen. If it has been offline for a long time, try to connect it and wait for the information to update. If it cannot connect, the properties will be unretrievable and the flavors will have to be registered manually through the service panel of the new touchscreen.
Task 1: Removal and Replacement of the Tablet Assembly.
v1.5 Standup
- Turn off power to the unit by flipping the switch on the back near where the power cord comes out.

- Locate the display and control box on the interior side of the door.
- Disconnect the seven cables leading to the bottom of the display and control box.
- Remove the (4) screws (2 on top and 2 on bottom) securing the display and control box to the door using a ⅜” socket wrench.
- Remove the tablet assembly from the door.
- Replace the old display and control box with new assembly.
- Tighten the (4) nuts to secure the new display and control box to the door.
- Reconnect the wires in the original positions.
- Reconfigure the unit properties by following Task 2.
v1.0 Standup
- Turn off power to the unit by flipping the switch on the back near where the power cord comes out.
- Locate the display and control box on the interior of the door.
- Remove the (4) wingnuts holding the cover in place.
- Remove the (4) screws from the control board using a #1 phillips screwdriver and disconnect the blue ethernet cable.
- Move the control board out of the way so that there is access to the tablet.
- Disconnect the following (3) cables: antenna, power, and usb.
- Remove the (6) nuts attaching the tablet to the door using a ⅜” socket wrench.
- Remove the tablet from the door.
- To reinstall the tablet assembly, perform steps 3-8 in reverse order.
- Reconfigure the unit properties by following Task 2.
v.75 Standup
- Turn off power to the unit by flipping the switch on the back near where the power cord comes out.
- Locate the display and control box on the interior of the door.
- Remove the (3) wingnuts.
- Remove the back panel off the studs.
- Disconnect the following (4) cables: ethernet, power, USB, and grounding wire.
- Unfasten the (2) screws on either side of the tablet using a #1 Phillips screwdriver.
- Remove the tablet from the studs on the door.
- To reinstall the tablet assembly, perform steps 3-7 in reverse order.
- Reconfigure the unit properties by following Task 2.
Task 2: Touchscreen Settings Update
- Turn on the unit by flipping the switch on the back near where the power cord comes out.
- Open the service panel.
- Contact Bevi Support at 1-866-704-2384 to configure the old unit’s properties to the new tablet.
