[Guide] Repacking the Countertop for RMA/Return Shipping

💡 NOTE: Decommissioning is required before a Bevi machine can be packed for shipment. Click here to view the decommissioning guide for the Countertop. Ensure all steps are followed before starting to repack.

Head Unit Repackaging Instructions:

Head Unit: Option 1, Using Off-The-Shelf Packaging

The Bevi countertop head unit (console) can be returned in a generic cardboard box with adequate interior packaging:

    • Must have dimensions ≥ 24” x 12” x 12” and should not exceed 30”x18”x18”.

    • An example of an acceptable box is S-4243 from Uline.

    • Bubble wrap, filler paper, or some similar material must be used to pack fully around the console unit and fill all empty volume within the overbox.

    • The box should then be securely taped shut.

  1. Use bubble wrap (or similar material) to line the interior base and sides of the box.
  2. Place the console kit on the bubble wrap liner with the screen facing up.
  3. Use bubble wrap (or similar material) to cover the front of the console unit, ensuring adequate coverage over the screen.
  4. Use additional bubble wrap as needed to fill any voids within the box pack.
  5. Tape the outer box shut.

    

Head Unit: Option 2, Using Bevi Countertop Packaging 720-0155

The Bevi Countertop head unit can be returned in its original Bevi packaging, or packaging from a different Bevi Countertop head unit.

  1. Place 1x of the rectangular flat pack in the base of the box.

  2. Place the countertop unit on its back within the box and on top of the flat pack.

  3. Place the interior wrap-around packaging around the console unit.

    • Ensure the black insulated water lines and flavor lines are fed through the cutout in the interior packaging.

  1. Tape the drip tray assembly under the dispense area.

  2. Coil the excess flavor lines and ethernet cable within the dispense area.

  1. Place 1x of the rectangular flat pack on top of the packed console unit.

  2. Tape the outer box shut.

Full Countertop Machine Return (Head Unit + Chiller)

📣 If you are also shipping back the chiller along with the Countertop head unit, continue onto the chiller packing instructions below.

Then secure both boxes (head unit AND chiller) to a shipping pallet using straps and/or plastic wrap, and ship via LTL services.


Make sure you have already decommissioned the Countertop unit, and followed the steps above to repack the head unit.

Then proceed with the steps below to repack the chiller, before securing BOTH boxes to a pallet with straps or plastic wrap. When returning both components, note you will need to ship the pallet via LTL services.

Repackaging Material Option 1: Off-The-Shelf Packaging

The Bevi chiller can be returned in a generic overbox with adequate interior packaging:

  • Overbox must have dimensions ≥ 22” x 22” x 22” and should not exceed 30”x30”x30.
  • An example of an acceptable box is S-4798 from Uline.
  • Bubble wrap, or a comparable material, must be used to pack fully below, above, and around the chiller and fill all empty volume within the overbox.
  • The box must be securely taped shut and secured to a pallet with shipping straps, and/or plastic wrap.

Repackaging Material Option 2: Bevi Packaging (order or re-use)

The Bevi chiller can also be returned in its original packaging, or packaging from a different Bevi chiller unit.

  • The chiller must be packed within the overbox using the original foam pads, or replacement bubble wrap.

  • The box must be securely taped shut, and secured to a pallet with shipping straps and/or plastic wrap.

Chiller Packaging Instructions

  1. Layer ≥ 2” of bubble wrap along the bottom of the box.

  1. Place and center the chiller feet down within the box.

  1. Use bubble wrap (or similar material) to completely fill in the empty volume around the perimeter of the chiller.
  2. Use additional bubble wrap, as needed, to fill any voids within the box pack.

  1. Layer ≥ 2” of bubble wrap along the top of the chiller.
  2. Tape the box shut
  3. Place the sealed box in the center of a pallet.
  4. Secure the box to the pallet via straps and/or shrink wrap.

NOTE: When shipping multiple chillers, individually boxed units can be combined up to 8 per standard pallet, using a configuration of 4 boxes per layer, stacked 2 high.

Shipping Specifications - Full Countertop Machine (Head Unit with Chiller):

  • 48” W x 40” L x 18” H (W and L dimensions are determined by the pallet size and will change based on the pallet that is used)
  • 150 lb (This includes 45 lb for a standard 48" x 40" pallet. Other pallets may have different weights.)
  • Freight Class = 125
  • Country of Origin = USA
  • Ship via LTL services
  • DO NOT STACK ANYTHING ON TOP OF THE PACKAGED PALLET
