Flavors

What type of ingredients does Bevi use in its flavors?

All Bevi flavor concentrates are made with natural flavorings, like real fruit. We extract the true flavoring in the form of essence, oil, or isolate. You won't find any artificial flavorings in our beverages.

Do Bevi flavors contain juice?

They do not. Bevi flavors are made with natural ingredients, derived from natural sources such as fruit, but they do not contain actual fruit juice.

Does Bevi use preservatives? 

We use citric acid and potassium sorbate to preserve the signature taste profile in our flavors. They are two of the most common preservatives used in food and beverage.

What is citric acid?

It’s an acid found naturally in citrus fruits, like lemons. Citric acid is used in everything from beers to canned tomatoes to maintain freshness and prevent foodborne illnesses. It is one of the preservatives Bevi uses for its flavors.

What is in a Bevi sweetened beverage?

There are currently two flavors that are sweetened: Blackberry Lime is sweetened with all-natural stevia leaf extract and has zero calories. Black Cherry is sweetened with sugar and only has 25 calories per 12 oz when using the standard concentrate setting. Bevi doesn’t use high fructose corn syrup or other artificial sweeteners.

What is stevia?

Stevia is a natural sweetener that comes from the leaves of the Stevia plant. Stevia has no calories, and is 200 times sweeter than sugar in the same concentration.

What type of product certifications does Bevi have?

All Bevi flavors are vegan and therefore contain no animal, dairy, egg, or honey products. Bevi flavors are gluten-free, sodium-free, and non-GMO.

Do Bevi flavors contain allergens? 

The FDA regulates the eight most common allergenic foods, one being Tree Nuts. Bevi’s Coconut flavor falls into this category and is therefore labeled as such. For all other ingredient information, click the “Nutrition” tab for each flavor.

Is there an expiration date for the flavors?

Unopened, our flavor and enhancement concentrates have an expiration date of 1 year from manufacture, printed on the BiB box label. Once opened, we allow 6 months before they expire.

How many flavors can I get in my Bevi machine?

The Countertop machine can hold up to 4 flavors. The Standup 2.0 machine can hold up to 8 flavors. For optimal beverage building, we recommend a combination of 5 flavors and 3 enhancements for The Standup 2.0 machine.

How many flavors can be mixed at once in The Standup 2.0 machine?

You can mix up to 3 different flavors into one beverage in The Standup 2.0 machine. You can also mix an additional 2 enhancements into your beverage.

How does flavor mixing work?

You can mix up to 3 different selections (any combination of flavors and enhancements) into one beverage in The Standup 1.5 and the Countertop machines.

You can mix up to 5 different selections (a maximum of 3 different flavors and 2 enhancements) into one beverage in The Standup 2.0 machine.

You can also mix enhancements into plain water in any of our machines.

How many flavors can be mixed at once in The Standup 1.5 and Countertop machine?

You can mix up to 3 different selections (any combination of flavors and enhancements) into one beverage in The Standup 1.5 and the Countertop machines.

Enhancements

What is caffeine? 

Caffeine is a stimulant that is naturally found in many different types of plants. At Bevi, we use natural caffeine extracted from green coffee beans.

How much caffeine can I mix into my beverage?

The FDA has cited the maximum caffeine intake at around 400 mg a day for healthy adults. At Bevi, we have two different settings for our Energy Boost enhancement: low at 45 mg caffeine per 12 oz. serving, and high at 95 mg caffeine per 12 oz. serving.

Is it okay to drink Energy Boost (caffeine) all day?

What ingredients are included in Bevi’s Vitamin Boost enhancement?

The ingredients list is as follows: Filtered water, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), potassium sorbate, calcium d-pantothenate (vitamin B5), zinc sulfate, pyridoxine HCl (vitamin B6), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12).

What are the benefits of Bevi’s Vitamin Boost enhancement?

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) acts as an antioxidant, maintains healthy skin, keeps you looking younger, and is essential for the body to make collagen. It’s one of the best nutrients for fighting off infections because it gives our immune system a boost when we need it most.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCI) is important for normal brain development and for keeping the nervous system and immune system healthy.

Vitamin B5 (Calcium D-Pantothenate) helps turn the food you eat into the energy you need. It’s important for many functions in the body, especially making and breaking down fats.

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) is an essential nutrient that helps the body create DNA, nourishes the brain and nervous system, and assists with the formation of healthy red blood cells.

Zinc helps fight infection, heal wounds, has anti-viral properties, and suppresses viral replication.

Is it okay to drink Vitamin Boost all day?

Yes! We’ve designed Vitamin Boost to be consumed all day and does double-duty by nourishing your immune system with the nutrients it requires to stay strong during flu season and providing the year-round multivitamin support your body needs. So feel free to drink away!

What product properties does Vitamin Boost have?

Vitamin Boost is vegan and therefore doesn’t contain animal, dairy, egg, or honey products. It’s also sodium-free, gluten-free and kosher certified. *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Are there preservatives in Bevi’s concentrates?

Our flavor and enhancement concentrates include citric acid and potassium sorbate—two of the most common preservatives used in food and beverage.

What is potassium sorbate?

Potassium sorbate is a preservative that is commonly used in food and beverage products to maintain quality. Bevi uses potassium sorbate in our flavors and enhancements.

What ingredients are included in Bevi’s Electrolytes enhancement?

Filtered water, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, monopotassium phosphate, niacinamide (vitamin B3), potassium sorbate, calcium d-pantothenate (vitamin B5), pyridoxine HCl (vitamin B6)

What are electrolytes?

Electrolytes are minerals found in your blood that help regulate and control the balance of fluids in the body. These minerals play a role in regulating everything from blood pressure to muscle contraction, and play a critical role in ensuring your system is functioning properly.
Electrolytes support your body to perform at it’s best. And no, it’s not just for those sporty peeps–electrolytes play a role in digestion, nervous, cardiac and muscular systems for every body.

Is it okay to drink electrolytes all day?

Our electrolytes enhancement can be safely consumed all day. They’re great for during or after a workout, days filled with long meetings—you name it, this extra boost of hydration will work for you. The quantities selected for this blend were chosen with all day consumption in mind. Plus, unlike the average sports drink, Electrolytes is sugar-free, calorie-free, and vitamin infused, so feel free to drink away!

Do Bevi enhancements contain allergens?

Are enhancements sweetened?

No, our enhancements are unsweetened. Enjoy them guilt-free!

How many enhancements can I get in my machine?

You can add up to three enhancements—Caffeine and Vitamin Boost (a vitamin blend)—to your Bevi machine. These can be coupled with any Bevi flavor or with plain filtered water.

How many enhancements and flavors can I mix into my water?

For the Standup 2.0 machine, you can mix up to 2 enhancements and 3 flavors, or add up to 2 enhancements to just plain water. For the Standup 1.5 and the Countertop machines, there are 4 slots to add flavors and enhancements. You can mix up to 3 of the flavors and enhancements in the machine at a time.
