Overview
This article explains how to change the status of a Bevi machine (unit) to "In Warehouse", and how to take it out of this status when ready to install it again. Putting a Bevi “In Warehouse” erases all customer data from the machine, and prepares it to be properly re-installed at the next location. A technician must be physically present at the machine to complete this process onscreen. The Bevi unit must be online and connected to the internet during this time.
Changing status to 'In Warehouse' is required to complete decommissioning, including when uninstalling to move or transfer a machine to a new customer or site, and preparing for warehouse storage. Setting a machine to "In Warehouse" removes it from your main Installed page on The Well, simplifying machine tracking by showing these units on the Warehouse page instead.
Requirements
- The Well: well.bevi.co/portal
- In-person access to the Service Panel on the Bevi machine

How to Mark a Bevi Unit as “In Warehouse”
Method 1: From the Bevi Machine
Internet Connection Required: The Bevi must be online and connected to complete this process. If not already, connect the machine to the internet before changing the status. This ensures the status is automatically updated on both machine and The Well.
-
On the Bevi machine screen, access the Service Panel.
- To access Service Panel: Tap the gear icon (top left), tap Start Service, enter PIN (1986).
- Once in the Service Panel, click the Settings button on the home screen of the Service Panel.
- Once on the Settings page, locate or scroll to the Status row, and click the editing icon to the right (square with pencil).
- Reminder: Active internet connection is required.
- In the Edit Status box, tap the In Warehouse button.
- A confirmation will appear. Tap the "Yes, Erase All Data" button to confirm that you want to mark the machine as In Warehouse and reset the machine.
-
Done: After confirming on the pop-up, the Bevi machine will restart automatically, and is reset/erased. The status on The Well is changed to "In Warehouse".
- You can now power the Bevi down, and it will return to Install Mode (EULA screen) the next time it turns on, ready to begin a new installation.
Method 2: Using The Well (and Bevi Machine)
- After logging in to The Well, find the unit you need to mark as “In Warehouse”, either by searching for it on your Installed page or using a filter.
- NOTE: If you can’t find the unit by searching or filtering, check the "In Warehouse"page on The Well to make sure it hasn’t already been moved.
- Once you’ve located the Installed unit on The Well, click its name to open its Unit page view.
- Click the “Edit” button on the Unit Information box located on the left side of the page.
- Reminder: Confirm that the unit is connected and online now. The Bevi unit must be online to be updated. If the unit is offline or disconnected, resolve this first before moving to the next steps.
- Click the Continue button in the bottom right corner of the Edit Unit pop-up two times to get to the “Status” setting.
- In the “Status” dropdown, select “In Warehouse”.
- Click Save to update the status of the unit.
- A message box will display: In warehouse move is pending confirmation at machine.
-
Finish by confirming on the Bevi screen:
- On the Bevi screen, wait for the Warehouse status confirmation to appear. Tap the Yes, Confirm Move button on the pop-up.
-
Done: After confirming on the pop-up, the Bevi machine will restart automatically, and is reset/erased. The status on The Well is changed to "In Warehouse".
- You can now power the Bevi down, and it will return to Install Mode (EULA screen) the next time it turns on, ready to begin a new installation.
