If the water coming out is now cold, but the water is still not carbonated enough, try the following actions:
Action #1: Verify the CO2 tank is full
The most common cause of sparkling water failure is an empty CO2 tank. Please first verify that a new, full CO2 tank has been installed as replacement.
Action #2: Check the CO2 regulator set point
If the CO2 tank is new, check to make sure the tank valve is opened and that the pressure regulator is set at 6 bars or 87.5 PSI. For 1.5 units, the pressure is preset, so no further adjustment is needed.
Action #3: Reset the chiller carbonator
Low carbonation can also occur if the carbonator pump has stalled, and is no longer pumping water into the carbonator tank. To troubleshoot this, restart the carbonator. For Standup units, turn the unit Off and On with the power button on the back of unit.
This power cycling will reset both the chiller carbonator and the carbonator pump. Dispense 1 L of water to purge any still water out of the carbonator tank, triggering on the carbonator pump.
