What are Curated Combos?
Curated Combos are vetted, multi-ingredient drink recipes that combine flavors and enhancements already installed on a Bevi machine. Rather than launching a new flavor concentrate, the on-machine UI surfaces these combos as one-tap selections so drinkers don't have to guess at the right mix.
How are Curated Combos different from Seasonal Beverages?
Mechanically they work the same way: both are recipes built from installed flavors and enhancements and surfaced on the Bevi screen as one-tap buttons. The difference is persistence. Seasonals rotate roughly every three months and come off the machine at the end of their season. Curated Combos are evergreen β once a Curated Combo is enabled on a machine, it stays there indefinitely unless the customer opts out.
Will Curated Combos require new flavor or enhancement concentrate boxes?
No. Curated Combos are built from the flavors and enhancements already in our catalog. There is nothing new to order, install, or train technicians on. The combo will appear on a machine's screen automatically when the component flavors and enhancements are installed.
How will Curated Combos be displayed on the Bevi screen?
A Curated Combo appears as its own button on the Bevi screen β identical to how a Seasonal Beverage appears. Drinkers select it with a single tap; the machine dispenses the component flavors and enhancements at the right ratio.
The only behavioral difference from Seasonals is that Curated Combos do not rotate off the machine at the end of a season. Machines must be online and on a current software version to display them.
How often will the Curated Combos list change, and how will partners be notified?
Curated Combos are evergreen β once a combo is enabled on a machine it stays there unless the customer opts out (see below). The catalog itself will grow over time as new combos are launched. Partners will be notified ahead of any catalog additions through our standard channels.
How can a customer opt out of Curated Combos?
Curated Combos are enabled by default on qualifying machines and stay on unless the customer opts out. To suppress Curated Combos on specific machines, email support@bevi.co with the customer name and machine information.
Mixed Berry (the 1st Curated Combo)
What is Mixed Berry?
Mixed Berry is the first named recipe in the Curated Combos catalog. It is a year-round, UI-driven combo of Raspberry + Strawberry Lemongrass. Drinkers see a single βMixed Berryβ button on the screen; the machine dispenses the two component flavors at the right ratio. No new concentrate is required. Mixed Berry is a flavor that is common in the food and beverage industries. It is often characterized by jammy, citric, and deep notes associated with different types of berries.
Which markets and machines support Mixed Berry?
Mixed Berry is a US and Canada-only launch. Both Strawberry Lemongrass and Raspberry are not currently available in our UK flavor lineup, so the recipe cannot be assembled there. On the machine side, Mixed Berry is supported on all currently fielded Bevi platforms that support multi-flavor combos β Signature Standup 2.0, Signature Countertop, and Standup 1.5, 1.0, and 0.75 β provided the machine is online and on a current software version.
What does a customer need installed for Mixed Berry to appear on their screen?
Both component flavors must be installed and in stock: Raspberry and Strawberry Lemongrass. If either flavor is uninstalled or runs out, the Mixed Berry button will either disappear from the screen or display as βOUTβ and grey out until the missing component is restocked, respectively. To keep Mixed Berry available consistently, make sure both flavors stay in the machine's standard rotation.
