How to Swap Flavors/Enhancement Boxes (BiBs), CT 2.0

Overview

This guide covers scanning flavors/enhancement boxes (BiBs) in or out for a Signature Countertop 2.0 with compact chiller.

Swap Procedure

Task 1: Access the Service Panel

  1. Touch the service (gear) icon at the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Touch "Start Service".
  3. Enter the PIN to enter the Service Panel.

Task 2: Enter the Flavor Swap workflow

  1. Tap Flavors & Enhancements under What are you swapping?

Task 3: Remove and scan out a box

If additional lines/slots are available and you are only ADDING a new BiB, an extra Switch to Scan In button will appear at the bottom of this screen. Tap it to skip directly to Scan in a new flavor or enhancement box without removing or replacing a BiB.

The screen will switch to the Scan Out menu. Follow the onscreen prompts:

  1. Locate the box you would like to remove.
  2. Disconnect the box.
  3. Remove the flavor box
  4. Scan the label on the box, so Bevi knows it has been removed from the machine.
    1. Locate RFID scan zone on the head unit.
    2. Pick up box. Hold label against scan zone.
    3. The 'Add new box' screen will appear if scan was successful.

Task 4: Scan in a new flavor or enhancement box

Using the buttons at the bottom of the screen, you can either switch to scan out to toggle back to the scan-out screen, or finish swap without scanning in a new box and leave the line/slot empty.

  1. Locate the new flavor you would like to add.
  2. Scan in the new flavor box.

Task 5: Add new box to the line/slot

The onscreen menu will assist with an indicator to highlight the active flavor line you are restocking or adding.

  1. Tear across the perforated lines to open the new flavor or enhancement box.
  2. Remove the bag cap.
  3. Screw the connector onto the bag spout.
    1. Double-check that you are attaching the correct line to the new BiB.
    2. Ensure the BiB is being connected correctly to avoid leaks: View detail in the BiB connection instruction article HERE.

Task 6: Finish swap and prime lines

Tap Finish Swap once the new BiB is connected.

Prime Lines

  1. Hold a glass directly below the nozzle.
  2. Tap each button to prime a flavor or enhancement individually.
    1. If no flavor is dispensed, check the connection(s) and repeat prime
  3. Discard the liquid and tap Continue to return to the Service Panel.
  4. Tap Finish Service if you are done servicing the Bevi.
