Viewing/Managing users in the Well
- All user accounts can still be found on the Users tab.
- This view remains largely unchanged.
- Edit icon has been updated to an eye icon to indicate that you can click on the user to view more information.
- Once you have clicked on the eye icon, the new view user modal will be displayed for that user.
- The users name, email address, phone number, and role will be shown in the top half of the new view and can be edited by clicking on Edit User.
- User information can now be edited separately from their permissions.
- A summary of the account permissions will be shown on the bottom half of the view.
- Each parent company and branch can be expanded for a breakdown of how the permissions are set up. The amount of units the account has access to under each partner/branch will be shown on the right hand side.
- Permissions can be edited from this screen by clicking on Edit Permissions
- The users name, email address, phone number, and role will be shown in the top half of the new view and can be edited by clicking on Edit User.
Editing User Permissions
- There are 4 ways that permissions can be set on an account:
- By partner and/or branch
- Branches will be nested under partners.
- By company
- By unit
- By matching the existing permissions of the person creating the account
- This will be useful for Admin-level users when setting up other users on their account.
- By partner and/or branch
- Once permissions have been selected for the user, you will be able to check and confirm their permissions in the summary page.
- Each parent company section can be expanded to see which branches access has been given to.
- The number of units the user has permissions to under each parent company/branch will be displayed on the right hand side of the screen like in the view user modal.
Adding and Editing units
- When adding or editing a unit, there will now be only one section for partner listed.
- Branches will be nested under their parent companies like with the user permissions.
- You can search for either the parent company or branch.
NOTE: Searching for the branch does not automatically expand the partner section. For example, if you search “Dallas”, only the partners with a Dallas branch will be shown - You may need to expand the correct parent company to select that branch.
Partner/Branch filtering
- Partner and branch filtering has been combined into one section:
- Filtering works the same way as selecting user permissions; branches are nested below their respective parent companies.
- Multiple branches and/or parent companies can be selected at once.
