All chillers must be scrapped with a recycler who is EPA-certified to properly extract or reclaim the R134A refrigerant. The metal and rest of the machine shell can often be handled by the same company for scrap & recycling.

Overview
All return or destroy requests for Standup 1.0 and 0.75 must first be sent to Support@bevi.co, with machine serial numbers. Partners will then have the following options to proceed (for Standup 1.0 or 0.75 machine types only):
- Pay a flat fee for the pickup and return of the machine(s) to Bevi.
- Scrap the machine(s) in the field, and self-certify the proper disposal.
This article provides guidance for completing the scrap-in-field option.
