Bevi detects periods of very low or no usage, and will activate a Sanitation Required Machine Alert. This alert disables dispensing, and must be cleared by following the process for sanitization. This article explains the alert and links to the procedure guides for sanitizing each machine type.
Sanitization can also be performed at other times as needed or as directed, using the same process. It is important to keep the Bevi clean for quality and food safety requirements, as well as to maintain a great customer experience with each beverage dispense.

OR
Less than 1 gallon (3.7 L) total of beverage dispensesin the last 6 weeks
Note that only one of these situations needs to occur to trigger the alert.
Alert Details and Next Steps
The Sanitation Required alert is a Severity 1 ("Sev 1") alert, meaning it blocks beverage dispenses until resolved. A screen with "Bevi Needs a Tune-Up" displays on the affected machine.
Enter the Service Panel directly from this screen by touching either the "View Alerts" button, or the gray gear/wrench icon in the top left corner.
On the Machine Alert screen, a QR code appears along with the Sanitation Required alert. Scan the QR code with a phone camera to visit the machine's Sanitation Procedure guide article directly; or, the links to these pages are also found below. Any other active alerts should also be handled at this time.
After completing the sanitization procedure, the Sanitation Required alert asks the technician to enter their initials to log and complete the service. Once the procedure is logged and completed, the alert will be cleared.
