Overview
Starting in October of 2025, Bevi deprecated use of the load cell component to calculate CO2 inventory data. This part is no longer used, and is being disabled on a small subset of legacy machines which were still using it. When the load cell is disabled by the update, these units switch over to use a more accurate CO2 inventory calculation going forward based on beverage dispenses, and the unused physical load cell part can be ignored in the future.
Machines Affected
- This update only applies to a subset of legacy Standup 1.0 and Standup 0.75 models.
- The machines must be connected and online to receive the update that disables the load cell data and switches to the updated CO2 inventory calculation method.
- To determine if a specific unit was affected, contact Bevi Technical Services with the machine serial number or other identifying information.
Date Effective
This change started rolling out in very late September 2025 - early October 2025. For machines that were offline/disconnected at that time, they may receive the update later when connected to the internet again.
Impact
This change improves the accuracy of the CO2 inventory levels, effective immediately when the switch-over occurs. Affected units may see a corrected CO2 inventory level on the first day, which can be higher or lower than the reported CO2 inventory level previously.
What this means: The new CO2 inventory level is a one-time correction for the small subset of units. If a one-time CO2 inventory change is noticed, accept the new corrected value as accurate going forward.
Always be sure that CO2 tank swaps (replenishment) are logged correctly in the machine's Service Panel when restocking. This is required so Bevi can calculate and report expected CO2 inventory levels and predicted run-out dates accurately.
