💡NOTE: Decommissioning is required before a Bevi machine can be packed for shipment. Click here to view the decommissioning guide for the Standup 1.5, 1.0, and 0.75 machines. Ensure all steps are followed before starting to repack.

- Standup 1.5 Only Repacking Instructions
- Standup 1.0 and 0.75 Repacking Instructions
Before beginning:
- The repackaging kit (P/N #550-0022) is required; request a kit through support@bevi.co.
- A pallet with a flat, solid top surface is required - example Uline H-5490. Do not use a pallet with gaps between slats! The pallet surface must be solid to prevent damage to the machine casters.
- It’s crucial to fully and individually wrap each machine with moving blankets for transit. If shipping 2 (two) Standup 1.5 machines, you must still wrap each machine completely with moving blankets to prevent any contact during shipping.
Required Tools & Parts
- Bevi Repackaging Kit FRU P/N #550-0022 (order from storefront). Includes:
- 3x moving blankets.
- 3x short shipping straps (blue).
- 2x long shipping straps (orange).
- 1x plastic wrap dispenser.
- 1x freeze indicator.
-
Acceptable Pallet for Shipping (obtain separately):
- Pallet must have solid top surface.
- Must fit the entire machine (& chiller, for Standup 1.0 or 0.75) within the pallet perimeter.Â
- Recommended example Uline H-5490, or source equivalent solid-top pallet locally.
Standup 1.5 model only:
Option: One (1) per Pallet Method:
- Ensure the decommission steps have been followed for the Standup 1.5 machine, and that no water remains in the chiller.
- The chiller will stay inside this model of machine for shipping.Â
- Position machine on top of the pallet, in the center.
- A piece of plywood can be used as a ramp to move the Bevi machine onto the pallet surface.
- The machine can also be moved via a team lift. Use caution and appropriate lifting safety principles.
- Place adhesive freeze indicator on the outside of the back panel, centered and near the top (see red arrow).
Â
- Wrap and strap: Strap the moving blankets around machine to completely protect it.
- Wrap the top half of the Bevi machine with the first blanket and secure with a short blue strap.
- Wrap the lower half with a second blanket, and secure with another short blue strap.
- Use the two long orange straps to secure the machine to the pallet.
- Tie off any excess loose ends of the straps.
- Use plastic wrap to wrap the blanketed machine from the top of the chiller height (about the lower third of machine) down to the pallet base.
Alternate Option: Two (2) per Pallet Method
NOTE: This method is only for 2x Standup 1.5 machines.
- Ensure the decommission steps have been followed for the Standup 1.5 machine, and that no water remains in the chiller.
- The chiller will stay inside this model of machine for shipping.
- On each machine, place an adhesive freeze indicator on the outside of the back panel, centered and near the top (two freeze indicators used; 1 per machine).
- Use (2x) moving blankets and (2x) short blue straps to completely wrap each individual machine.
- IMPORTANT: This ensures full blanket padding in between the units.
- Position the two individually wrapped machines on the pallet, back-to-back with doors facing out.Â
- NOTE: It is critical that the metal chassis of the machines do not directly touch during transit to avoid scratches and dents!
- A piece of plywood can be used as a ramp to move the machines onto the pallet surface.
- The machines can also be moved via a team lift. Use caution and appropriate lifting safety principles.
- Strap the two machines to each other, using (1x) long orange strap around the middle of both machines.
- You can also use two short blue straps connected together.
- Finally, strap the machines to the pallet using (2x) long orange straps:
- One long orange strap to secure units to pallet on one side.
- Second long orange strap to secure units to the pallet on the adjacent side.
- Use plastic wrap to completely wrap both units from the top down to the pallet base.
Â
Standup 1.0 and 0.75 models:
- Ensure the decommission steps have been followed for the Standup 1.0 or 0.75 machine, and that no water remains in the chiller.
- The chiller must be taken out of these models for shipping. Follow all steps on the decommission guide before repacking.
- Position machine on top of the pallet, aligned to one side.
- Wrap and strap: Strap two moving blankets around machine to completely protect it.
- Wrap the top half of the Bevi machine with the first moving blanket, and secure with a short blue strap.
- Wrap the lower half with a second blanket and secure with another short blue strap.
- Place the chiller next to the Bevi machine on the pallet.
- Use the third moving blanket to wrap the chiller, and secure with another short blue strap.
- Ensure the wrapped chiller is placed tightly next to the wrapped Bevi.
- Use the two long orange straps in parallel to secure the Bevi machine and chiller to the pallet. *Refer to the photo in the next step to see ideal orange strap positioning.
- Tie off any excess loose ends of the straps.
- Use plastic wrap to wrap the blanketed machine from the top of the chiller height down to the pallet base.
