Overview
This guide details the steps to replace the 3M HF20-I filter in a compact chiller for the Signature Countertop 2.0 or Countertop 1.5.

Required Tools & Parts
- 3M HF20-I filter, P/N #901-0003
- Small bucket or water collection container.
Swap Procedure
Task 1: Access the Service Panel.
- Touch the service (gear) icon at the top left corner of the screen.
- Touch "Start Service".
- Enter the PIN to enter the Service Panel.
Task 2: Start the Filter Swap workflow.
- From the Service Panel, select the button depending on Countertop model:
- Signature CT 2.0 - Tap Filter under What are you swapping today?
- CT 1.5 - Tap Restock in the Filter box.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Filter replacement.

Task 3: Close the Buffer Tank.
- Open the cabinet doors to access the Chiller.
- Close the Buffer Tank.
- Open the access panel on the front of the chiller.
- Turn the buffer tank valve 1/4 turn until it is pointed down in the closed position.
- Touch “Continue”.
Task 4: Remove the old filter.
- Gently twist the filter to the left to remove.
- Guide the filter down out of the filter head and remove.
- Touch "Continue".
Task 5: Install the new filter.
- Remove the filter from its packaging, and remove the red cap.
- Lift the filter into the filter housing, with the label facing to the left.
- Rotate the filter to the right into the bracket until it locks into place.
- Touch “Continue”.
Task 6: Flush the Filter.
- Pull the filter flush valve tube out of the retaining clips.
- Place an empty bucket under the extended filter flush valve tube.
- Open the filter flush valve by turning it to the horizontal position.
- Tap the play button to start dispensing through the tube and into the bucket.
- Use this few second delay to ensure the filter flush tube is in the bucket.
- After three gallons of water have been flushed, close the filter flush valve and return the tube to the retaining clips.
- If three gallons of water was not flushed in the first attempt, repeat the flush process.
- Touch “Continue”.
Task 7: Flush Machine.
- Empty bucket and place back under the nozzle.
- Tap the play button to start the flushing process.
- Flushing takes about 60 seconds.
- Inspect the flushed filtered water to ensure it is clear with no cloudy micro-bubbles.
- If water is cloudy, repeat flushing as needed.
- Touch “Continue”.
Task 8: Open Buffer Tank.
- Open the buffer tank by turning the valve counterclockwise until it is horizontal.
- Once opened, close the access panel.
- Empty the bucket and place back under nozzle.
- Press the “Play” button to depressurize the water system.
- Air and water may be dispensed.
- Press “Continue” to complete the filter swap.
