Overview
This diagnostic test confirms if the compressor fan current is within expected ranges. A failure of this diagnostic test could indicate an issue with the chiller power harness, wiring connections, or with the chiller fan itself, and will block continuing with installation until resolved.

Troubleshooting
-
Confirm there is adequate ventilation behind the machine.
-
The Bevi 2.0 requires a minimum distance of 2” behind the machine to allow for ventilation.
-
-
Confirm the compressor fan is running.
WARNING | |
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE (120 V / 240 V). CONTACT MAY CAUSE ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND INJURY. DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE SERVICING. |
WARNING: The next steps involve working with the live 120VAC power cable. Disconnect power to the machine prior to handling. Powering off the machine will restart the installation process when powered back on.
-
Power off the Bevi and unplug the power cord.
-
Remove the bottom panel from the back of the Bevi.
- Loosen the 4 screws in the corners of the panel.

Confirm that the Compressor Fan power wires are connected.
- The compressor fan is located at the bottom on the back of the Bevi.
- Check and confirm the two power wires are connected to the fan.
- If not, connect both wires to the fan.
- The fan does not have any polarity, so as long as both wires are connected it will spin the correct direction.
- Plug in the power cord and power on the Bevi.
- Repeat the installation diagnostic test.
- If the test passes, reinstall the back panel and continue with installation.
- If the test fails again, continue to step 6.

Check the chiller power cable connection at the Power Module
- On the left side of the power module, locate the large white 120v chiller power connector.
- Inspect connector and wires for any visible damage.
- Check and verify that the connector is fully seated.
- Disconnect, and reseat the chiller power cable.
- Ensure the connector is fully seated and clicks into place.
-
Check the chiller power cable connection at the Chiller
- Locate the large black connector for the chiller power harness.
- This is located on the left side of the plumbing shelf, just above the chiller
- Inspect connector and wires for any visible damage
- Check and verify that the connector is fully seated
- Disconnect, and reseat the chiller power cable.
