SU 2.0 Install Diagnostics - Buffer Tank Pressure Too Low/Not Connected, or Too High

Overview

This error is returned when the Internal Water Pressure sensor is reading above 100psi, below -17psi, or not reporting a numerical value.

CONTACT MAY CAUSE ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND INJURY. 
DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE SERVICING.

Task 1. Drain the Buffer Tank.  

  1. If the water supply line has already been connected, ensure it is turned off.
  2. Open the Buffer Tank. 
    • Rotate Buffer Tank valve counter clockwise, pointing to the right.

  1. Place a bucket or container under the Filter Flush Valve on the filter outlet. 
  2. Open the Filter Flush valve to drain any water and or air that may be in the Buffer Tank.

Task 2. Remove the top panel from the back of the Bevi.

  1. Loosen the 6 screws in the corners of the panel.
  2. Lift the panel up to unhook from the screws, and remove.
    • Place the panel to the side.

Task 3. Remove the center panel from the back of the Bevi. 

  1. Loosen the 4 screws in the corners of the panel.
  2. Lift the panel up to unhook from the screws, and remove.
    • Place the panel to the side.

Task 4. Check the Water Pressure Sensor connection at Manifold 1

  1. Inspect connector and wires for any visible damage.
  2. Verify the connector is fully seated and clicked into place.  
  3. Gently disconnect, and reconnect the cable to Manifold 1. 
    • There is a lock latch on the connector, gently press the latch to release the connection.

Task 5. Check the Inlet Manifold cable connection at the BUC Board. 

  1. Inspect connector and wires for any visible damage.
  2. Verify the connector is fully seated and clicked into place.  
  3. Gently disconnect, and reconnect the cable to the BUC Board.

Task 6. Inspect the entire length of the Water Pressure Sensor Cable.  

  1. Check for any cuts or damage to the wires and connectors along the entire cable from the sensor to the BUC Board.

Task 7. Repeat the Install Diagnostic Test. 

1. Turn on the water supply to the Bevi.

2. Repeat the Install Diagnostic test.

✔️ If the test passes:

  • Reinstall the back panels. 
  • Continue with installation.

✖️ If the Buffer Tank Pressure test continues to fail:
