- Phillips #1 screwdriver
- Plumbers tape
- Wire cutter
Task 1: Turn off the Bevi Machine
- For SU units, the switch is located on the back of the Bevi just above the power cord.
- For v0 CT units, you will need to locate the power brick and disconnect power from that location.
- For v1 CT units, you will need to locate the power switch on the back of the head unit.
Task 2: Remove and Replace the Aerator
v1 Stand Up Model
- Remove flavor barbs from the flavor ring, being careful not to apply too much pressure as you can damage the barb.
- Remove the flavor ring by unscrewing the two screws that hold it in place.
- Loosen the aerator by using a crescent wrench until you’re able to use your fingers to remove it.
- Apply plumbers tape on the new aerator threads.
- Install new aerator first until it is finger tight. Then use the crescent wrench to finish tightening.
NOTE: If the upper nut starts to slip during the aerator installation use another crescent wrench to hold it while you tighten the aerator.
- Test by holding a container underneath and dispense sparkling water to check for leaks. If it is leaking during dispense you may need more plumbers tape or to tighten the aerator further.
- Reinstall the flavor ring putting screws back in place and reinstall flavor lines by gently pressing barbs back in their holes.
v1.5 Stand Up Model
