Overview
This alert activates when the compact chiller has detected temperature conditions indicating that it may not be properly installed or ventilation may be insufficient. This can lead to warm drinks, poor performance, or damage to the chiller.
Technicians should resolve this alert once the ventilation conditions have been verified or corrected. The alert may activate again if needed.

Troubleshooting Steps
Confirm Ventilation Grate is Clear
The compact chiller requires its lower ventilation grate to remain clear and properly vented, per the standard installation instructions ↗. The compact chiller will malfunction if its grate is blocked.
Use one of the approved alternative ventilation methods ↗ if the cabinet can't support the standard ventilation requirements.
Double-check that:
- ...The compact chiller is aligned and exhaust air is venting outside the cabinet, per our standard or approved alternative installation instructions.
- ...The chiller is not sitting directly on the floor or base of the cabinet.
- ...The ventilation grate under the front of the chiller is clear, not blocked or restricted, and air is freely moving out of the cabinet.

If Using a Chiller Riser/Ventilation Platform:
The compact chiller exhaust air must still be vented properly outside of the cabinet space - Raising the chiller off of the floor surface alone does not allow proper air circulation even in a floorless cabinet.
Double-check the examples for floorless cabinets, “ADA” cabinets, false or flying toe kicks, and ventilation grates in the Alternative Ventilation Methods article for details.
