Installation Procedure
Task 1: Enter the Service Panel to open the door.
- Navigate to the Service Panel.
- Touch the Service button in the top left corner of the main dispense screen.
- Depending on which UI version shown, the service button will either be at the top left, or bottom right corner of the screen.
- Touch "Start Service" on the right side of the screen.
- Enter the access code "1986".
- Touch the Service button in the top left corner of the main dispense screen.
- The door should open. If it doesn't, press the "Open Door" button.
- If you are unable to open the door, please contact Bevi Support at 866-704-BEVI.
Task 2: Scan the RFID FRU tag
NOTE: It is important to scan in the Carbonation Plus Nozzle to allow the machine to accept BeviPop flavors.
- Locate the RFID tag in the FRU kit.
- Scan the tag by touching it to the RFID scan area of the Door Control Board on the inside of the door
- A successful nozzle scan will trigger the following pop-up screen. Once you see this screen, tap OK and proceed with the following steps to install the nozzle.
NOTE: Invalid and/or incorrect scans will present different pop-up messages indicating an error has occurred. If you have any issues scanning in the new nozzle, please contact Bevi Support at 866-704-BEVI (2384) for more assistance.
Task 3: Disconnect power from Standup 2.0
- Turn off the power switch on the top rear of the unit.
- Remove the power cable.
Task 4: Remove the restock instruction card
- Remove the restock instruction card by carefully removing the 3 plastic rivets securing the card to the door.
- Gently pry plastic rivets up using a small flathead screwdriver
Task 5: Remove the Gen 1 Nozzle
- Place a container or small bucket on the drip tray below the nozzle.
- Disconnect the Hot Water tube.
- If present, cut the head of the zip tie that secures the tube to the barbed fitting.
- Gently twist and pull to disconnect the tube from the barbed fitting.
NOTE: Take care not to cut or damage the tube while cutting the zip tie.
- Remove the two screws for the p-clips securing the flavor lines to the door.
- Place the screws aside in a safe place for reinstallation.
- Remove the flavor lines from the plastic clip on the Manifold 3 bracket.
- Disconnect the 1/4" tube from the output of Manifold 3.
- If present, remove the red locking clip, and disconnect the tube from the push-to-connect fitting.
- This tube will not be reused.
- Remove the 3 screws securing the nozzle assembly to the door.
- Remove the 2 upper mounting screws.
- CAREFULLY remove the lower screw securing the LED lens and grey plastic nozzle housing.
- Place the screws aside in a safe place for reinstallation.
CAUTION: The lower mounting screw threads into a metal insert in the door. When removing the screw, it is possible for the insert to back out instead of only the screw. If the threaded insert in the door backed out instead of the screw only, the insert must be re-inserted into the door before proceeding further. To do so, use a small amount of gel superglue to retain the insert in the door.
Example of backed-out threaded insert
- Lift up the Gen 1 nozzle assembly away from the door.
- Unscrew the nozzle shroud.
- Place the shroud to the side for reinstallation.
- Remove the grey nozzle housing, it will not be reused.
- Disconnect the 8 flavor barbs from the Gen 1 nozzle.
- Using flush cut snips, trim the flavor tubes to remove the flavor barb and create a fresh edge that will provide a proper seal on the new flavor injectors.
- Do not cut more than 1/2" from the end of each tube.
Task 6: Install the Carbonation Plus Nozzle
- Unbox the Nozzle Upgrade Kit.
- Connect the Carbonation Plus Nozzle and Splash Guard to the Nozzle Mounting Bracket.
- Place the metal Splash Guard in the mounting bracket with the cone-shaped end facing up.
- Place the front tab of the nozzle into the slot of the mounting bracket, and rotate the nozzle down until the rear tab snaps into place.
- Place the front tab of the nozzle into the slot of the mounting bracket, and rotate the nozzle down until the rear tab snaps into place.

- Disconnect the LED cable from the LED Board.
- There is a lock-latch that needs to be depressed to release the connector.
- Insert the LED Lens into the nozzle mounting bracket.
- You may need to apply slight pressure to snap the LED lens into place. Take care to not damage any components.
- It is helpful to place the longer #6-32 x 3/16" into the nozzle assembly at this time to keep the components aligned.
- Install the nozzle and mounting bracket onto the door.
- Ensure the mounting bracket is seated properly in the alignment tabs on the door.
- Using the longer #6-32 x 3/16" machine screw provided in the nozzle upgrade kit, attach the new Nozzle Mounting Bracket and existing LED lens to the door.
- The mounting screw will first go through the bracket, and then the LED lens. When installed, the LED lens will be sandwiched between the mounting bracket and the door.
- Do not overtighten the mounting screw.
- Reconnect the LED cable to the LED board.
- Ensure the connector is fully seated and the lock-latch clicks into place securely.
- Install the nozzle shroud that was removed in a previous step.
- Connect the 1/4" tube to Manifold 3.
- Ensure the tubing is fully seated into the push-to-connect fitting on the manifold, and reinstall the red locking clip.
- When properly installed, the tubing should be vertical as it runs down to the nozzle.
- Connect the 8 flavor lines.
- There are 4 longer, and 4 shorter flavor lines.
- The 4 longer flavor lines should be routed to the left side of the nozzle, and the 4 shorter lines to the right side.
- Push each line onto the flavor injector barbs surrounding the nozzle, ensuring they are fully seated.
- Clip the flavor lines into the slots on the mounting bracket to secure.
- Ensure the tubes do not cross over each other, and are free of kinks or any visible strain.
- Reinstall the 2 screws to secure the flavor line p-clips to the door.
- The 4 shorter flavor lines (right side of nozzle) do not go through the second p-clip.
- None of the flavor lines go through the plastic clip on the Manifold 3 bracket.
- Take care to arrange the flavor lines in a tidy fashion when reinstalling.
- Ensure the flavor lines are not kinked, twisted, or restricted in any way.

- Reconnect the hot water tube to the barbed fitting on the nozzle.
- Ensure the tube is fully seated.
- Install the supplied zip tie to secure the hot water tube to the barbed fitting.
- Power on the Bevi.
- Reconnect the power cord.
- Power on the Bevi with the power switch.
- Once the machine is powered on, navigate to the Troubleshooting Tools screen.
- Service Panel > Alerts & Maintenance > Troubleshooting Tools.
- From the "Flavors & Enhancements" section of the Controls menu, prime each of the flavor lines.
- Ensure each flavor is dispensing with proper flow.
- Inspect the flavor line connections at the nozzle for any leaks.
- Pour Still, Sparkling, and Hot water.
- Ensure proper flow out nozzle.
- Inspect tubing connections at Manifold 3 and the Carbonation Plus Nozzle for any leaks.
- Measure Still Flow Rate.
- Place a 1 L container under the nozzle.
- With a timer, pour Still water and time how long it takes to fill the 1 L container.
- Divide 60 seconds by the number of seconds taken to fill 1 L to calculate flow rate.
- Example: 12 seconds to fill 1 L.
- 60/12 = 5 LPM
- Reinstall the restock instruction card, and close the door.
