Overview
Beginning mid-November 2025, the flavor "Key Lime" is rebranding to "Lime" to align with user preferences, while keeping the same formula and great taste. There are no changes to the recipe or SKU, UPC, or flavor numbers. "Lime" will appear on Bevi machine dispense screens with an updated icon, while flavor concentrate boxes (BiB's) and The Well will continue to show "Key Lime" for now. Invoices and machine Service Panels will show "Lime (Key Lime)".
General
Q: What is Lime and what does it taste like?
A: Rebranded from "Key Lime" to "Lime", this flavor continues to deliver a refreshing, tart citrus taste. The recipe and ingredients remain exactly the same, only the name and icon have changed. Lime has a tart lime flavor, the same refreshing taste as our previous Key Lime flavor.
Q: Why did Bevi decide to make this change from Key Lime to Lime?
A: At Bevi, we continually collect and review user feedback to create the best product experience. Through this feedback, we found the name "Lime" aligns more with consumer preferences and better represents the flavor profile of this beverage.
Q: When will we begin to see these changes?
A: The name change will begin to occur in mid-November 2025.
Q: How will Lime appear on the Bevi dispense screen?
A: The Lime selection now appears in place of Key Lime on the Bevi dispense screen for all machines that had Key Lime installed. You'll notice an updated icon featuring a lime wedge. A "New Look!" banner will show for the first 3 weeks after the update to let users know this is the same great flavor with a fresh new appearance.
Technicians & Self-Servicers
Q: Does the name change to Lime affect SKU's, UPC, or flavor numbers?
A: While the SKU and UPC numbers will not be changing, this name change will affect both Key Lime #96 and Key Lime #130. The flavor numbers will not change.
Visit our Flavor and Enhancement List for a full list of SKU's and concentrate names.
Q: How does this change affect technicians when swapping BiBs?
A: There is no additional work required! For clarification while performing swaps, here's how the name will show up across Bevi machines.
- For now, BiBs (concentrate boxes) will continue to show "Key Lime" as the name printed on the box and label. The invoices will also continue to list "Key Lime", as well as "Lime (Key Lime)" in the description. BiBs will start to begin showing the updated name of “Lime” in the upcoming months.
- On Standup 2.0 units: When a Key Lime BiB is scanned in, it will show the name as "Lime (Key Lime)".
- On Countertop and Standup 1.5, 1.0, and 0.75 units: When a Key Lime BiB is being installed, the technician should select "Lime (Key Lime)" from the FLAVOR NAME menu in the onscreen service panel.
For now, The Well will continue to show "Lime (Key Lime)" as the name of the flavor, not "Lime."
