Task 3: Remove the chiller from the cabinet.
- Carefully lift the front of the chiller so the locating tabs on the bottom can come up and out of the ventilation holes.
- Slide the chiller forward so the front hangs over the edge of the cabinet.
NOTE: Avoid spilling water from the ice bank by taking extra care to keep the chiller flat and level, and minimize any excess handling.
- Remove the red locking clip and disconnect the 3/8" water in tube from the back of the chiller.
- NOTE: This step may not be necessary if there is enough slack on the water line to fully remove the chiller without putting tension on the tubing.
- Lifting from the front and the rear grab handle, carefully lift the chiller out of the cabinet and place on the floor.
Task 4: Remove the right side panel.
- Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the two screws securing the right side panel of the chiller.

- Remove the old cut zip tie from the buffer tank bracket.
Task 6: Install the new Buffer Tank
- Feed the supplied large zip tie through the slots in the metal mounting bracket behind the buffer tank.
- Insert the buffer tank back into its housing and secure the zip tie around the buffer tank.
- If necessary, use a pair of pliers to firmly grasp the zip tie and tighten as much as possible.

NOTE: Ensure the head of the zip tie is out of the way of the compact chiller side panel before fully tightening it.
- Reconnect the stem elbow to the push to connect fitting at the bottom of the buffer tank.
- Ensure the stem is fully pushed into the fitting.
- Reinstall the red locking clip.

NOTE: Avoid spilling water from the ice bank by taking extra care to keep the chiller flat and level, and minimize any excess handling.
- If it was disconnected during removal, reconnect the 3/8" water supply tube.
- Ensure the tubing is fully seated into the push to connect fitting.
- Reinstall the red locking clip.
- Power on the chiller.
Task 8: Fill the Buffer Tank and Ice Bank.
