Troubleshooting Steps
Task 1: Repeat the Diagnostic Test
- If the test fails, you can first attempt to restart the diagnostic tests to see if it passes on the second attempt.
- If the test continues to fail, power cycle the Bevi via the power switch on the front of the chiller.
- Navigate back through the installation steps to the Install Diagnostic step and repeat the test.
- If the test continues to fail, continue to Task 2.
Task 2: Power Off the Bevi.
- Power off the Bevi using the power switch on the front of the chiller.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the chiller.
Task 3: Remove the chiller from the cabinet.
- Carefully lift the front of the chiller so the locating tabs on the bottom can come up and out of the ventilation holes.
- Slide the chiller forward so the front hangs over the edge of the cabinet.
- Remove the red locking clip and disconnect the 3/8” water supply line from the back of the chiller.
- This step may not be necessary if there is enough slack on the water line to fully remove the chiller without putting tension on the tubing.
- Lifting from the front and the rear grab handle, carefully lift the chiller out of the cabinet and place on the floor.
CO2 Low Pressure Switch Not Detected
Task 4: Remove the PCB panel.
- Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screw securing the PCB panel on the left side of the chiller.
- With the screw fully loosened, lift the panel to release the lower locating tab and remove.
- Place the panel to the side.
Task 5: Check the Low Pressure CO2 switch connection.
- Locate the Low Pressure CO2 switch cable on the BUC board.
- Inspect the pressure switch cable.
- Confirm that the cable is properly connected to the BUC Board. .
- Inspect the wires and connector for any visible damage or loose pins.
- If there is any damage to the cable or connector, please contact Bevi Support at 866-704-2384.
- Gently disconnect, and reconnect the CO2 Low Pressure Switch cable.
- There is a lock latch on the connector that needs to be depressed to disconnect the cable.
- When reconnecting, ensure the connector is fully seated and clicks into place.
CO2 High Pressure Switch Not Detected
Task 6: Remove the CO2 panel.
- Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the two screws securing the CO2 panel to the top of the chiller.
- With the screws fully loosened, lift the front of the panel up, and slide forward to release the rear locating tabs.
- Place the panel to the side.
Task 7: Remove the PCB panel.
- Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screw securing the PCB panel on the left side of the chiller.
- With the screw fully loosened, lift the panel to release the lower locating tab and remove.
- Place the panel to the side.
Task 8: Check the CO2 panel switch connections.
- The High Pressure CO2 Switch has 2 connections.
- The High Pressure switch first connects from the CO2 Regulator assemble to the top of the chiller in the CO2 Panel.
- Inspect the pressure switch cable.
- Confirm that the cable is properly connected.
- Inspect the wires and connector for any visible damage or loose pins.
- If there is any damage to the cable or connector, please contact Bevi Support at 866-704-2384.
- Gently disconnect, and reconnect the cable.
- There is a lock latch on the connector that needs to be depressed to disconnect the cable.
- When reconnecting, ensure the connector is fully seated and clicks into place.
- Locate the High Pressure CO2 switch connection at the BUC board.
- Inspect the pressure switch cable.
- Confirm that the cable is properly connected.
- Inspect the wires and connector for any visible damage or loose pins.
- If there is any damage to the cable or connector, please contact Bevi Support at 866-704-2384.
- Gently disconnect, and reconnect the cable.
- There is a lock latch on the connector that needs to be depressed to disconnect the cable.
- When reconnecting, ensure the connector is fully seated and clicks into place.
Task 9: Reinstall the Chiller.
- Reinstall the CO2 and PCB panels.
- Take care not to pinch any wiring in the panels.
- Ensure the locating tabs slot into place
- Tighten the screws to secure the panel.
- Reconnect the chiller power cord.
- Carefully lift the chiller into place in the cabinet.
- Ensure the locating tabs on the bottom of the chiller fit into the ventilation holes and the chiller sits flush on the base of the cabinet.
- If it was disconnected during removal, reconnect the 3/8” water supply tube.
- Ensure the tubing is fully seated into the push to connect fitting.
- Reinstall the red locking clip.
- Power on the chiller.
Task 10: Repeat the Diagnostic Test
- Proceed through the Installation Wizard back to the Diagnostic Test.
- If the test passes:
- Reinstall the CO2 and PCB panels.
- Continue with Installation.
