Please first check to make sure your Countertop cabinet setup has the proper inlet and outlet ventilations as listed in the Countertop pre-installation requirements.
In some cases even with proper cabinet setup, the chill water and sparkling water traveling between the chiller carbonator and the Countertop head unit may warm by 3 to 4 degrees Fahrenheit due to ambient temperature conditions. Thus, you may need to insulate those lines to minimize temperature increase through the travel path of the water lines. This may improve chill water and sparkling water performance.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Purchase pipe insulation tape. We recommend this tape.
2. Using the insulation tape, wrap all the water lines between the chiller carbonator and the Countertop head unit. Start an inch or two past the end of the supplied insulation for on the soda/still water out lines leaving the chiller, and wrap all exposed lines an inch or two past the insulation on the console tubing. You can also wrap any unions, tees, or shut offs as well since the adhesive side of the tape is not water tight so if there was a leak the insulation will not hide it.
The wrapped lines should look like the following:
