Overview
This article guides Bevi technicians and other qualified personnel to remove and replace the Power Module on the Bevi Standup 2.0 machine. The procedure involves working with the electrical system; follow all safety precautions carefully to avoid shock hazards.
WARNING: The Bevi Standup 2.0 uses 120/240 VAC and 24 VDC within the machine. Working with the power module presents a shock hazard. Please take proper precautions.

Required Tools & Materials
- 720-0101 - FRU: POWER MODULE (for North America, 120 V only)
- 720-0303 - FRU: POWER MODULE - EU (for UK/Europe, 240 V only)
- #2 Phillips Screwdriver
- 11/32” wrench or socket
Removal Steps
Task 1: Confirm replacement Power Module voltage.
- Before continuing with removal steps, verify the replacement power module you have is the correct current range for your location.
- Each heater has the voltage marked on the button of the hot water tank.
- For North American Bevi machines using 110-120 V power source, there will be a 15 A breaker on the back of the Power Module.
- For UK/EU Bevi machines using 220-240 V power source, there will be a 10 A breaker on the back of the Power Module.
- If the Power Module you received does not match the power source voltage in your region, please do not proceed, and contact Bevi Support at 866-704-2384.
Task 2: Open the door.
- Navigate to the Service Panel.
- Touch the Service button in the top left corner of the main dispense screen.
- Touch "Start Service" on the right side of the screen.
- Enter the access code “1986”.
- The door should open. If it doesn't, press the “Open Door” button.
- If the door does not open, please contact Bevi Support at 866-704-BEVI.
Task 3: Disconnect power from Standup 2.0
- Turn off the power switch on the top rear of the unit.
- Remove the power cable.

Task 4: Remove the top cover of the Bevi Standup 2.0
- Remove the 3 screws at the front bottom edge of the cover.
- Remove the white plastic cover by lifting up on the front of the cover
- Set aside cover and screws
Task 5: Disconnect and remove power module
- Disconnect the 7 cables connected to the power module.
- Release the lock latch on each connector and disconnect from the power module.
- There are 5 unique cables on the left side, and 2 unique cables and a ground wire on the right.
- Release the lock latch on each connector and disconnect from the power module.
- Using a 11/32” wrench, remove the grounding wire nut, and ground wire.
- There are two additional ground wires connected in the same location.
- Once removed, reconnect the two remaining ground wires and nuts to the threaded stud.
- Remove (4) #2 phillips screws in each corner of the Power Module.
- Carefully lift the power module up and remove from the Bevi.
Installation & Testing Steps
Task 6: Install new power module.
- Set the new power module in place, with the power switch and fan to the back of the Bevi.
- Reinstall the 4 mounting screws.
- Reattach grounding wire.
- Ensure that the power module ground and the two additional ground wires are connected and properly tightened.
- Reconnect all 7 cables and ensure the connectors are fully seated with a click.
- Each cable has a unique connector, and cannot be plugged in incorrectly.
Task 7: Restart machine and confirm all components are working.
- Reconnect the power cord.
- Power on the Bevi with the power switch,
- From the front of the machine, confirm the alternating green & red heartbeat LED is flashing.
- Navigate back to the Troubleshooting Tools screen.
- In the “Data” column under the Electrical tab, verify the Power Module is connected.
- You should see Power Module Connected = YES.

Task 8: Check For Updates
After installing the new power module, it is important to be sure the firmware is up to date.
- In the upper left corner of Troubleshooting Tools, check if there is an update available.
- Touch the “Update” button if present.
- The Bevi will download the power module firmware upgrade.
- Once upgrade is complete, touch “restart
- The Bevi will download the updated firmware.
Task 9: Test Functionality
- Once the Bevi restarts, test the functionality of the Bevi machine to ensure the issue has been resolved.
- In the Chiller Controls section, turn on the Compressor.
- Verify Compressor Current in the Chiller Data section.
- North American (120 V): Compressor current should read between 2 A – 3.5 A.
- UK/Europe (240 V): Compressor current should read between 0.6 A – 1.3 A.
- If the compressor current is outside of expected ranges, power off the Bevi and confirm the 120/240 VAC Chiller Power Cable is properly connected.
- Using the Controls menu, turn on the heater.
- Confirm heater current is within expected range.
- North American (120 V): Heater current between 6.5 A – 7.5A when on.
- UK/Europe (240V): Heater current between 3.5 A – 4.1 A when on.
- If you do not see a current reading when the heater is on, turn off the Bevi, unplug the power cord, and confirm that the heater power cable is connected properly.
- Confirm heater current is within expected range.
- Pour cold, sparkling, and hot water to confirm the Bevi is dispensing properly.
- If the issue is resolved;
- Reinstall the plastic top cover and secure with the 3 screws.
- Close the door.
- If the issue is NOT resolved;
