Overview
This article guides technicians through removal and replacement of the Standup 2.0 demand pump.

Required Tools & Materials
- FRU - Demand Pump (720-0056)
- Long bladed #2 Phillips screwdriver
- Flush cut snips for zip ties
- Replacement zip ties
Remove and Replace Procedure:
1. Depressurize the water system
- Navigate to the Service Panel
- Touch the Service button in the top left corner of the main dispense screen.
- Touch "Start Service" on the right side of the screen.
- Enter the access code “1986”.
- The door should open. If it doesn't, press the “Open Door” button.
- From the Service Panel, touch "Alerts and Maintenance, then "Troubleshooting Tools"
- Close the buffer tank.
- With the door open, access the Buffer Tank shut off through the access hole above the filter.
- Turn the valve 1/4 turn clockwise to close the Buffer Tank.
- The valve should be pointed out of the access hole when closed.
- Turn off the water source to the Bevi.
- Locate the shut off valve on the water source behind the machine and turn it off.
- Place a container under the nozzle, and pour COLD water until water is no longer dispensing. .
- Continue dispensing until the Internal Water Pressure is at or below 0psi.

2. Disconnect power from the Bevi
- Turn off the power switch on the top rear of the unit.
- Disconnect the power cable.
3. Remove the Top and Center panels from the back of the Bevi
- Loosen the screws in the corners of the panels.
- The screws do not need to be fully removed.
- Lift the panels up to unhook from the screws, and remove.
- Place the panels to the side.
4. Disconnect the Demand Pump cable from the BUC Board
- Locate the demand pump connector at the bottom left corner of the BUC Board.
- Carefully depress the lock latch and disconnect the cable.
- Carefully cut any zip ties securing the demand pump cable and remove.
- Take care not to damage any wiring while cutting the zip ties.
Task 5. Remove the Demand Pump
- Disconnect the inlet and outlet tubes from the demand pump.
- Remove the red locking clips, and disconnect the tubing from the push to connect fittings on the pump.
- Important: Note the routing of the tubes for reinstallation.
- Using a long bladed #2 phillips screwdriver, remove the 4 mounting screws at the base of the demand pump.
- Note: The two rear mounting screws are not easily visible, and can be difficult to access without a proper length screwdriver.
- Carefully remove the demand pump from the plumbing shelf.
Task 6. Install the new Demand Pump.
- Reinstall the demand pump onto the plumbing shelf.
- It is helpful to insert the two rear mounting screws into the rubber grommets prior to placing the pump on the shelf.
- Install and tighten the remaining screws.
- Reconnect the inlet and outlet tubes to the demand pump.
Task 7. Reconnect the demand pump cable.

- Route the cable for the new demand pump up from the plumbing shelf to the BUC Board.
- Reconnect the cable to the connector.
- Secure all wiring with new zip ties.
Task 8. Test the Demand Pump
- Plug in and power on the Bevi.
- Navigate back to the Troubleshooting Tools menu.
- In the Controls section under Water, turn on the demand pump.
- Listen for the demand pump to turn on.
- If it does not, recheck the connection at the BUC Board.
- If the demand pump is properly connected but still not turning on, please contact Bevi Support at 866-703-2384.
- Turn on supply water and open the buffer tank.
- From Troubleshooting Tools, pour both cold and sparkling water to confirm the machine is functioning properly.
- Verify the carbonator is full.
- After dispensing sparkling water, confirm that the carbonator reads as full.
- If the carbonator is not full, dispense sparkling water for 5 seconds, then pause for 30 seconds.
- Repeat this process until carbonator is full.
- If you are unable to fill the carbonator, contact Bevi Support at 866-703-2384.
- Check for leaks.
- Inspect the tubing connections at the demand pump and verify there are no leaks present.
- If any leaking is found, confirm all tubing connections are fully seated.
- Reinstall the back panels.
