Before Continuing
If the Install Diagnostics tests for SBC CPU and GPU Temperature are failing, it may be an indication that the Bevi is installed in a location that does not meet the proper environmental site requirements stated in the Installation Guide. Before troubleshooting, confirm that the install site meets the requirements below.

Bevi is installed indoors.
- Outdoor installation is not approved.
- Ambient room temperature for install location is between 10-32°C (50-90°F).
- No excessive humidity.
- 5” clearance from the back of the Head Unit to the backsplash.
- 1” clearance on each side of the Head Unit.
- Any overhead cabinets above the Head Unit are at least 20” from the countertop surface.
If the installation meets all requirements as stated on Page 5 of the Installation Guide, continue with the troubleshooting steps below.
Troubleshooting Steps
Task 1: Retest
- Restart the diagnostic tests to see if it passes on the second attempt.

If the test continues to fail, power cycle the Bevi via the power switch on the front of the chiller.
- Navigate back through the installation steps to the Install Diagnostic step and repeat the test.
- If the test continues to fail, continue to Task 2.
Task 2: Power Off the Bevi.
- Power off the Bevi using the power switch on the front of the chiller.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the chiller.
Task 3: Remove the head unit shell.

Release to top mounting clip for the head unit shell.
- Place both hands on the sides of head unit shell near the top.
- Using some force, twist the top of the shell to release the top clip.

Inside the cabinet, locate the split nut on the threaded coupler at the base of the head unit and loosen it 2-3 turns.
- This will allow you to rotate the head unit for easier access to the back.
- Insert a key, or similar flat thin tool into the access hole at the rear base of the head unit to release the latch and remove shell.
Task 4: Inspect the SBC for any damage.
- Perform a visual inspection of the SBC for any damage.
- Check for signs of water and or flavor leaks that may have contacted the SBC.
- Inspected all electrical connections for any signs of damage.
- If no issues are found on the SBC, continue to Task 5.

If any damage or issues are found on the SBC, then it may need to be replaced.

Task 7: Retest

Reinstall the Head Unit shell.
- Ensure the upper and lower latches click in securely.
- Plug in the power cord and power on the Bevi via the switch on the front of the Compact Chiller.
- Navigate back to the Install Diagnostics screen.

Restart the Install Diagnostics test.
- If the test passes, continue with installation.
