- Small container for holding loose screws
Remove and Replace Procedure
Task 1: Power Off the Bevi
- Power off the Bevi using the power switch on the front of the chiller.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the chiller.
Task 2: Remove the Shell
- Remove the drip tray from the base of the CT 2.0 and place it to the side.
- Place one hand on the left and one hand on the right of the shell and twist toward one side until the shell releases from the front of the head unit.
- Insert a key or flatheaded screwdriver straight into the shell latch-release hole until the tool stops moving.
CAUTION: It is possible to slip the tool underneath the latch.
- Lift the shell up to remove it from the CT 2.0.
CAUTION: The shell may require some force to remove.
- Locate the split nut securing the head unit to the countertop.
- Turn the split nut counterclockwise by one or two full turns to loosen it.
Task 3: Remove the HUCB
- Rotate the CT 2.0 such that the HUCB is facing you.
- Disconnect all 14 connectors from the HUCB.
- 24VDC Power to HUCB cable
- USB-C cable
- 8x Flavor Pump Cables
- RFID Antenna
- Flow Meter Cable
- HUCB to Valve Cable
- Nozzle LED Cable
CAUTION: Do not pull directly on any of the cables; they are easy to damage and the wires may pull out of the connectors.
- Use a #1 Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the HUCB to the pump towers.
- Take care not to drop the screws into the base of the head unit.
- Note: The bottom screw secures the flavor sense carrier to the HUCB. The flavor sense carrier is loose and will come out of the pump towers with the HUCB if the screw is not removed.
- Disengage the mounting snaps securing the HUCB to the pump towers.
- Mounting snaps are paired together and lettered G, H, K, and L.
- Simultaneously disengage one pair of the HUCB snaps and pull on the HUCB, starting with G and H.
- Once the HUCB has been removed from all snaps, slide it up and out of its locating features to remove it from the back of the pump towers.
CAUTION: Do not grab any surface-mount components!
- Once the HUCB has been removed from its mounting features, remove it from the flavor sense carrier.
- There is a screw and a set of snaps (labeled Q and R) securing the HUCB to the flavor sense carrier.
Task 4: Install the New HUCB
- Place the HUCB in the flavor sense carrier.
- Push the HUCB down to seat it in the three alignment features on the base of the flavor sense carrier.
- Engage snaps Q and R at the top of the flavor sense carrier.
- Place the HUCB in its alignment features.
- Align the HUCB with its locating features and push down to slide it into place.
- Firmly push on the HUCB near the mounting snaps to secure the HUCB to the head unit going down the length of the HUCB.
- Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to reinsert and tighten all three of the HUCB’s mounting screws.
- Reconnect all of the cables to the HUCB.
Task 5: Reinstall the Shell
- Rotate the head unit back to its original position.
- Take care not to twist any cables or wires underneath the countertop.
- Loosely place the shell onto the head unit.

- Flow meter cable
- Cables from the touchscreen
- Ensure the power cord is effectively routed through the port on the back of the shell.
- Reseat the shell onto the head unit.
- Firmly press on the top of the shell directly above one of the snaps to seat it into the touchscreen.
