Task 4: Remove the CT2 from the Countertop
- Place a paper towel sheet (or a different covering) down to protect the touchscreen.
- Hold the CT2 by the side of the pump towers and the front housing to lift it straight up and out of the cabinet.
- Ensure there is a sufficient amount of relief in the trunkline and electrical cables from the chiller prior to removing the head unit from the countertop.
- Place the head unit screen-side down on the prepared area.
- Rotate the threaded coupler one quarter turn counterclockwise to remove it from the head unit.
- Separate the coupler to remove it from the trunkline components.
- Disconnect the bottom tabs and pry the coupler apart using your fingers.
- Take care not to bend the bottom of the coupler too much as this can damage the plastics.
- Place the coupler to the side.
Task 5: Remove the Flavor Line from the CT 2.0
- Identify the flavor line that needs to be replaced.
- The flavor pump numbers are molded into the pump towers
- Disconnect the flavor line from the flavor pump.
- Support the flavor pump with one hand and use the other hand to remove the flavor line; pull and twist the flavor line to remove it from the 90° fitting.
- Pull the flavor line through the flavor sense carrier.
- Pull the flavor line through the underside of the head unit.
- Cut the zip ties holding the flavor lines together in a large bundle.
- Dispose of the removed flavor line.
Task 6: Install the New Flavor Line
- Unpackage the new flavor line.
- One end of the flavor line has a threaded BiB connector fitting, the other is an end with no fitting.
- Insert the end of the flavor line with no fitting through the coupler hole at the bottom of the head unit.
- Route the new flavor tube through the routing feature underneath the flavor pump.
- Pull through just enough flavor line to leave slack behind the flavor pump, approximately three inches.
- Refer to other installed flavor lines to match the amount of relief on the new flavor line.
- Gently push and twist the flavor line to connect the flavor line to the pump.
- Take care to fully seat the flavor line onto the pump’s fitting.
- Route the flavor line through the routing features and into the channel in the flavor sense carrier.
